Simple
One easy to use system
As a profession, we are seeing increasing numbers of OA sufferers. It is estimated that well over 20% of all dogs have evidence of the condition. AIM OA Sys is an easy to use, digitised process based on the Aim OA system which has been developed and used in arthritis management for over 15 years by some of the world’s leading authorities in canine arthritis.
We use standardised questionnaires to obtain key information on each patient then our algorithms analyse the data. The system provides clinical insights into the case, helping you address the clinical needs, planning and long term management requirements. This standardised process enables you to monitor the patient over a long term, keeping track of of the progression of the condition.
AIM OA Sys is an online, cloud based platform, which means you won’t need to install any software on your computer. This also means your clients can fill in their portion of a questionnaire in the waiting room from a web enabled device. The app has been developed to
work on tablet devices, as well as a desktop computer.
The system focuses on 6 key areas for management, using a traffic light system to highlight areas for focus.
A – Analgesia
B – Body Condition Score and diet
C – Care with environmental and drug toxicity issues
D – Disease modifications
E – Exercise
F – Follow up
A plan can be printed off and given to the owner along with the recommended exercises. There are over 100 exercises in the plan targeting range of motion, core stability, proprioception and strengthening.
The AIM OA Sys program increases owner compliance and helps engage clients.
